I’m looking forward to watching this journey. Thank you for sharing❣️
I am happy to share. Cannot wait to show you!
girl you be throwing down in the kitchen
How many years did you do in the military? And would you do it again?
I did 3 years. I would never change my choices and do not regret a thing. It was tough- but I made it.
I love this!
Aww thanks:))))
Hey there - I recently found you on Instagram and I just want to tell you - that I am so glad to see a woman who is able to pursue nurse anesthesia and get into real estate. These are the two things I want to do - I find it so cool that I'm able to watch your experience. Thank you!
You are so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your journey with us <3 I am really looking forward to starting CRNA school here in Puerto Rico in 2026!
Congrats!!! Keep me updated
I will be going to Puerto 🇵🇷 Rico for 3 weeks end of June it's my dad's 80th bday... Can't wait last time I was there was 10 years ago
How was your time?!
I love what your doing, i just graduated from nursing school and would like to one day own a homestead and invest in real estate as well, hopefully i get there one day. Are you wanting to do a community living thing with your homestead ?
Yes! That is the plan. It will be a community. We believe that is one of the major elements lacking in modern society. So a community homestead development is underway! Beautiful new homes! Yoga/Fitness studio. Stocked pond. The whole9
@@AishaCRNA yay I'm so excited to go visit when everything's all set up!

Aw thank you so much. I am getting back into the swing of vlogging!
Any advice on the DNP project? I start my DNP PMHNP school next June. Also, I’m ex USAF as well!

what do you need babes:)
What a story of empowerment! When you are self-aware and know your value, these jobs are in constant state of befuddlement lol!

Thank youuuuu

They will all be Doctorates by end of 2025
Amazing workout ⭐️💕
It nearly took me out!
Well damn, I ain't know CRNA school would get me all this... I would have started nursing a looooong time ago.
Hahahahahhaha
I liked how he helped you eased into the conversation.
Thanks for sharing your so beautiful. You have an inspiring story. To see that you are following your passion is amazing. I wish you much success.
I appreciate that!
You speaking such amazing words and life into the hens was so cute.
Wait let me go back!!! I did!!?
Glad you are back, Aisha!! I am interested in taking a few of the courses you are offering through the Ditch the Bedside community--I too am a CRNA, went 1099 straight after graduating a year ago (first brick wall regarding lenders willing to fund w/o 2 years of 1099 income) and have a STRONG desire to diversify my income and shift into real estate (including airbnb). My questions are 1) is there an a la carte type of option that doesn't necessarily include the CRNA prep items and 2) does it sound like your course could be of benefit to someone in my specific situation? Thank you in advance, you are truly in inspiration!
In my last year of CRNA school and already know I want to do the same. That's awesome, congrats and stay at it!
Ooooh you are almost there! Stay strong. It truly is worth it in the end.

Hello. I saw your reddit post from 6 months, and I wanted to ask some questions about your CRNA career in the Air Force, but the post was archived. I hope you don't mind me asking here: You said you served three years and then separated. I know that the minimum Active Duty requirement is 3 years, but I'm curious about what it's like being on ready reserve. Do you know if reserve CRNAs get deployed a lot in the AF? Is it safe to take a full-time job as a CRNA while on reserve, or do you have to play it safe and work part-time just in case you get deployed? How does the 8-year commitment factor into life after active duty? I appreciate you sharing your experiences!
Great questions. So it is IRR. Inactive Ready reserve. I am not like a reservist. It would take A LOT (of which I won't even speak) for me to ever be needed again. I am way different than other reservists.
I love it! Congratulations 👏🏿
Thank you!!
Amazing 👏🏾🔥
Cannot wait until I can go back
Haha i definitely name-dropped you in my USAF CNRA recruiter interview & he knew exactly who you were
Hahahah yes! How'd he respond?!
Omgggg this is wonderful! Haven’t watched the whole thing but I started my naval nurse corps process a few weeks ago and have my sights on Japan!
If you can go, I highly recommend it!
Hello Aisha, I'm considering the military for the CRNA USAGPAN route. Im a little older in my late 30s and I figured it would be a good route to be paid while in school and to have the years in school also count towards retirement. Now that a few years have passed, do you think the military was ultimately a financially wise choice and how is the work-life balance? Im thinking about the 8 years active and retiring in the reserves or just doing the reserves as an RN.
It was for me!!
I loved this conversation, especially about how to offer more holistic health services! I grew up in a very health conscious/holistic health centered family. I’m a novice cardiac rn and have been so conflicted working in the hospital (I call it the underworld). I’d love to do research on different healing techniques. Albert Hoffmans book on LSD conjured a lot of thoughts about how to approach this.
Oooh I want to read this. Thanks for the suggestion. And glad you liked it. Underworld is right. I had a lot of thoughts about working in a place where I felt like devices were being overused Nd not helping patients
I've been watching you since you were a new nurse!! I'm so proud of your work! Its the success for me!!❤
Thank you so much!! SO glad to be back.
Oh we’re back!!!!!!❤❤❤❤ yesss!!!
Slowly but surely
you said the 100k was after living expenses right?
Not sure what you are asking specifically. This is an olddd vid
You’re so inspirational! Thank you for posting your journey. Decided to take the CRNA to USAF route & am hoping to be freed from the clutches of waitlists.
You coming back?
maybe!!!!
@@AishaCRNA PLEASE!
Hi! Could you show step by step what to do after you turn on the anesthesia machine, which it includes Leak test, flushing, etc, pls?
That's what this is
Tip numero uno, don’t waste your time handwriting notes… grad school baby.. learn to type.. can type 4 times faster than handwriting.. left out chirality is on a Carbon compound which is technically an enantiomers that make up a race mix mixture.. get way more detail typing.. the kids who hand write and draw are the kids that fail.. professor are spouting 10,000 plus words per lecture.. not drawing pics and highlighting 😂
My professors actually taught. And something I preach is learning how you learn best. I obviously didn't fail. Please don't blanket make statements. I would have failed trying to conform to digital methods
I am currently startings interviews for CRNA school (YAY!). I want to go the HPSP route since i am a mother of 4 and have not gotten the chance to save a whole bunch. What does the 3 years of commitment look like afterwards? I know pay will be lower than other places, but the benefits make up for it, I'm more questioning deployments.
I am doing an HPSP session for those that are interested. aishallen.com to join email list.
2 years? That’s crazy short.
3 years
Is a crna the same as a np?
Absolutely not
Do you plan to serve in the army for a long period of time or do you plan on stopping soon?
I am no longer in the service!
Wow who do you haunt or let them know you know the story and on board with torture and abuse of innocent women and kids especially for you to practice and have that fairytale or promise
HUH again?
Why are you using Aisha name you know that’s not your name I find who ever told you this is going to make you rich especially with the icu part I mean really look at at you
huh?
WHERE IS CAMERAMAN NAME? WITHOUT HIM CAN YOU MAKE VEDIO LIKE THIS?
Is your study log for the entire month? I like your videos very down to earth and informative! Unlike many younger women on here you aren't doing the annoying, misleading, selfie bling sessions! Thanks for keeping it real!
Any updated thoughts on the device?
I lost it lol
No ICU will take me. I've been graduated for about 9 months. I'm currently in operative services. It's very demoralizing because I want so bad to be a crna.
Have you thought about moving?
@@AishaCRNA I've highly considered it. I have continued to apply to units that are not in my general location.
Thank you so much for taking the time to go through each step and providing rationales. It was much needed!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Hello! Do you recommend we add past work experience not related to nursing/medical? For example, I worked at burger kind, Kroger, Construction, and most recently, a very successfully online sales business. Thanks!
Maybe the online sales business
Enjoyed the advice. I'm not in nursing school yet but I will differently take in the advice for future usage. Thank you for giving your advice
Did you ever get licensed as a CRNA?!
I sure did!
Graduated in 2019, then went into the Air Force. I just left Japan almost two months ago
